For their 165th birthday we designed several elements bringing their iconic facade and iconic pastry to another level in the windows of this amazing facade in the heart of Budapest. When we started to work together with Gerbeaud Cafe it was obvious that part of the focus would be their iconic facade. Besides the paper building we have also created some large scaled classic Gerbeaud confectionery elements.
By the main entrance is made out of enlarged iconic pastry and some ingredients from paper. We have chosen the colour of the paper elements to harmonize with the interior and yet be visible from the outside and inside too. The inspiration for the windows by the entrance is coming from the iconic Macskanyelv a chocolate that we all know from our childhood. We integrated the playful cats jumping in between the cups, tasting the paper creme and pouring chocolate.
